I created this spread as a practice for Voyageur Magazine at the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay. This layout introduces an article titled Jens Jensen's Landscape Plan for Manitowoc Lincoln High School by Robert P. Since this article details the work of landscape architect Jens Jensen and highlights his interest in nature, I chose to highlight these elements by incorporating a natural color palette. The color green evokes nature, and the golden leaves align with the sepia tone of the photograph of Jensen. I also chose to include large images of Jensen's portrait and Lincoln High School to establish early on the person and place that would be central to this article.
